“The way we choose to interpret the experiences that we have and the way that trauma is experienced in our body is different for everybody. We must be willing to look at the event, the interpretation, the experience, and the pain. We all have the ability to transmute that pain into something that is going to be fuel for our fire.” – Jenna Phillips Ballard

Power Quotes From The Show
We're One with God
Ego + Leadership
“Leadership is an ego-fracturing journey and I believe that we must allow our ego to die a million deaths in this lifetime. It's never over. If you're a leader, you will have multiple different opportunities to confront your ego and reinvent yourself as a leader.” – Jenna Phillips Ballard
Victim Mentality
“Most people will choose to cling onto the victim conversation that they were victimized, abused, taken advantage of, and their joy was stolen. I believe wounds always find ways to get opened up and get looked at all over again, and we find ways to heal through our challenges and wounds. ” – Jenna Phillips Ballard

About Jenna Phillips Ballard
Jenna began her career in 2006 as a certified personal trainer and mindset coach for celebrities.
In 2009, she discovered the world of emotional intelligence, experiential training, and somatic practices. She then realized she had a bigger calling and began studying human behavior, leadership, and a variety of transformational methods.
In 2016, she co-founded Ascension Leadership Academy (ALA) with her husband and they moved their lives south to be the pioneers of emotional intelligence and experiential trainings in San Diego. ALA’s standard of transformational excellence has directly inspired many of their graduates to also open their own transformational centers.
As a mother of two boys, she is consciously creating the next generation of leaders and makes sure to be a giant 5-year-old with them. “We don’t stop playing because we get older. We get older because we stop playing.”
